Hello, my name is Kyle, and I decided to create this blog for those who enjoy the music world and the technology world. Now-a-days, there is a very fine line between technology and modern instruments, and the way that these worlds combine is fascinating.
After being a flute player in the classical world for at least twelve years, and a composer for around seven, I have had to deal with both music and technology on a daily basis to get the results that I want. After many years in the formal music world, I have decided to change formal career paths and study computer science. Therefore, “Musicy Tech Geek” seemed fitting for me, and I thought that there would be others around. I will be diving into the ways that modern technology has changed our world, and how it affects the art that we create.

Hey Kyle,
) make more sense in the first half and even build a little tension in their own right. I like the way the tension with the gun builds in the second half and the “pause” when the microwave hits zero (in the music) really adds a nice tweak to the whole scene, I think. Very nice. Remind me when and where to vote (remember, I’m a techno-dolt!). Nice work! Mike
I just matched up the vid and the score (at least the earlier version that I had) and it’s cooler with the video (duh). The first half makes more sense (perhaps another ‘duh’) and the second half is very good. The (what you called them, “polyphonies?” (I’ve never taken a music theory class, be nice!
